Dont declare the expensive items,its changed recently,could be as little as 10 dollars!! We sent jewelry back for a birthday and the recipient had to pay an import tax nearing the value of it. Cards are cheaper than letters to send and can take 10 days.

We took 3n half hours to get from lancelin to cervantez,due to having an old map that didnt show the 'new road'. When we arrived in Cervantes we asked where that new looking tarmac took you and the reply was 'Lancelin,bout 45 mins'. That was in 2010 when we first arrived. Last month we completed 'Australias longest shortcut' from Laverton WA to yulara NT,1200 kms of dirt and corrugations in 2 days, oh how things have changed!!!!!!!

Theres a chippy near us that does mushy paes........mmmmmmm. NOR!

we eat apricot chiken,something we never ate before we came here 3 years ago,mangos heaps of salad and loads of bbqd meat. We also eat less fast food to which is a bonus!!! We also drink plenty of iced coffee,never did before!!
