Hi. I've been told by my employer that they will nominate me for a 457 visa and pay the nomination fees, then I will have to pay the Visa fee for myself (around $1050) and any agent fees. Is this correct? Can they do that? I thought that the employer paid these fees. Can they do this?

I thought that you could only get PR after you've been here for 2 years, is that wrong?

She can stay apply for her Aussie passport after 1 year of receiving her PR visa.
