  2. She is a nurse. On thing i had considered is completing a PGCE to become a secondary school teacher upon completion of my degree, this is obviously on the list. Is there any rules on how long you mist have been in the particular occupation to qualify?
  3. The other thing i should have mentioned is that my girlfriend is in an occupation on the list, if she was to want to move.....would she have to go alone or would i be entitled to go with her?
  4. Hi i have a background in office/customer service kind of positions so not something on the occupations list which would get me in. I am 32 years old and currently studying a sports and exercise science degree. My brother has permanent residency/citizenship. Is there any way to secure a visa to allow me to move over? I understand its unlikely but can't hurt to look into it. thanks in advance.
  5. I hope so, failing that...ill just go for it and hope i go to the right places haha thanks, it'll be good i hope, although I'm not gonna want to come back by the sounds of what i read online :-)

  8. Hi Everyone Im heading over for 6-8 weeks in june. visiting my brother. I'm trying to work out what sort of figures i should be looking to bring over with me!! during my time in perth, I'm hoping to be spending my time going to as many sporting events as possible, and being a bit of a sports fan, visiting as many venues, both pro and semi pro as possible. Adding to that the usual sight seeing and a few nights out.... what are the costs like in comparison to england for an average night out? public transport? and anything else people might think i need to know about? also, costs of entry to sports? thanks
  9. Hi guys thanks for getting back to me, and to confirm it is soccer I mean by football. :-) ive been in contact with someone who is involved with a club and the running of a WA football website who has suggested I'd be able to get a game somewhere as long as an international transfer certificate can be gained in time, however the WA football authorities may not be the quickest at processing these..... ive be been throughout he process in the last from England to wales and back again and it went through quipu icily then but understandably it may be more difficult given the distances involved, anyway, fingers crossed it will come off!! worst case scenario, as mentioned, I can train and atleast get some football in!!
  10. Hi im going to be visiting my brother during June and July of 2014 during my break from university and as he will be working as normal it would be good if I was able to meet some people who are "sporty", I'd also like to try and get a few games for anyone who may be in need of a player during this time. does anyone have any ideas of where I can look? as you can imagine I have no idea how the leagues work out there!!! thanks
