Guys, I've been sent an invitation to a BBQ in Kings Park on Wednesday evening. I'm pretty sure anyone from the forum is invited, and We are going to try to make it along. It would be good to see any of you there. By the way, had an awesome time in the Margret river area and cant wait to go back, good recommendations people!

Hope you don't mind but I saw this and invited some more people to the Wednesday eve BBQ, from here who I haven't met before either. They might not turn up but just wanted to let you know. Also is this a girls only thing?

I can't do Friday or this weekend at all sadly. The misses has a friend from the UK over for a couple of weeks so I've got to be driver and ferry them about. Hi, bit of a strange one here. In WA if I was looking to make an extra buck out of buying and selling cars what's the law? It costs the earth to do transfers in WA. So how long do I have until I HAVE to transfer into my name? Am I right in thinking the transfer costs are calculated from a percentage of the purchase cost? Could I buy the car, advertise and sell without actually having to pay to transfer into my name? Also when it comes round to re-rego'ing a car what's needed? You pay transfer fees, rego fees, insurance (if your sensible) and what else? just trying to see if it's feasible, legal and worth the hassle thank you

I'm 32 and my wife's 30 we have no kids and have just moved over from the UK too Innaloo, I'm working but Julia, my wife, is looking for work. She gets properly fed up during the day when I'm not around, with no one else to talk too. So it would be nice if we met some new people. Hi, I'm David, 32 and my wife, Julia is 30, we're both from south UK and moved over mid Nov 13. I have started work but my wife, Julia hasn't yet, and so gets a little fed up at home. We will be spending Christmas alone and only know a handful of people here. We are based in Innaloo, our container has just arrived in Fremantle but we wont get to see it until early Jan probably.
