UK Government worker - what to do in Perth??

Thanks. Hubby has done Vetessess and will get his licence when he gets there. Hadn't realised local & state gov jobs were at a premium !! -
Hi We are due to arrive at the end of Nov. Hubby is an Electrician so will hopefully have options when he arrives, although I know it's not easy getting a job!! I have 19 years experience working for the UK Government. I've worked my notice and am now looking for similar work when we arrive in Australia. Can anyone help or suggest where I might look for jobs like this?? Thanks

Thanks for the offer. As we needed it until the end of Feb, I've managed to sort somewhere now. We will be taking some time to look around Butler though when we arrive as it appears a lovely place to find a longer term un-furnished rental for when our container arrives.

I realise it's a busy time, but our visa is here, my notice is being worked and we are flying out on 27th Nov (in Perth 28th) and we need somewhere to stay!!! 3 bedrooms, Northern suburbs. we were think holiday rental.....but open to options any advice would be gratefully received
