No mate. Some Geordie lads used to come up and do raised access work and I met a guy called Pete (from somewhere in North Yorkshire/co Durham) that did access when I was on a Karndean course. Apart from that I don't know many people in that business.

Sarah, I'm a floor layer and I have been in the country for 11 days. I've got PR and I've found loads of work already. I had 2 weeks of work lined up before I came over and I've got a few offers of work for when this job is done. There's plenty of work and if ur hubby is hard working and good at his job then I reckon he good make a really good living. Seems to me that there's a lot more opportunities than back home and better money.
