I moved across in October and clubs arrived on Xmas Eve. I've played so far at Gosnells, Hartfield, Collier Park and 4 times on the Tuart at Wembley. Used to play off six, but not getting enough golf, so struggling a bit just now! Playing Glen Iris this weekend with an Oil & Gas golf society. Keen golfers should also google the Perth Golf Network. Fremantle has been on the list, doesn't look like we would get anything with a pool there, but know it's got plenty pubs etc. Victoria Park and Subiaco another two ares we have looked at, along with Como and South Perth.

Thanks, not sure why, but wasn't sure about Burswood? I know there's still some development going on there, with the former golf course earmarked for a car park. What district does Raffles fall under? Looking for somewhere with some bars/cafes and a good gym for the OH

Work is based in Canning Vale, Oil & Gas. Been looking at some of the apartments in the CBD, just the two of us, no kids, so schools and the like not important thats 5 weeks now and still no Visa

Thinking about renting furnished in CBD for first six months while we find our feet. What's everyone's opinion on this? Hope to be dinky's if missus can find a job, and were keen to see if we would use a pool, and missus is a gym junkie so quite a few of the apartments in CBD seem to cover these bases. My work will be in Canning Vale, if it's fairly flat, and there's showers at work, was considering cycling?

Waiting on 457 getting approved, been in just over 3 weeks now, then 4 weeks after that we are off to Perth Can't wait!
