  1. They are looking for seven years in a supervisor position, mainly with larger building companies. I had to jump through hoops etc to get mine, even with references from principal Architects and Structural engineers. Even with the registration its bloody hard getting work, and there's so so so many rules and paperwork..wages for trades are normally between $30-45per hr.. ps.. Getting a good builder or carpenter here is very hard, I've had two both uk boys, which were on temp visas..so if your a good all rounder your be snapped up !! Most of my guys are poms, birds of a feather flock together..true saying... Paul
  2. Big Al Make sure you bring hard copies of your UK qualifications and refs, as you may need to get registered as a supervisor. Check out the Building commissions web site regarding site supervisors... Ps..You will find that site management doesn't pay that well..
  3. Yes, you need to be registered to be a builder in WA..check out Builder Commission web site..
