Noise cancelling headphones are a must for me! I have some Sony ones and they block out about 70% of noise I'd say. Seems so noisy when I take them off! I also knock back a few Kwells before take off. They are travel sickness pills, so not only does it stop you feeling queasy if it is bumpy flight, they have the added bonus of making you drowsy. I swear by these for helping me nod off.

We are moving a 2 bed house (and possibly vehicle - hence the 40ft) in August. They have been fantastic. I have literally emailed them a hundred times with questions and they have been so helpful. Their insurance is about 3% of value of replacement of shipment, but a company such as Letton Percival will insure for 1.3% (just make sure you read the product disclosure statement etc to make sure you get the cover you want)

I have been in Perth for 8 years with my (now) fiance. We are going back for good in August. Originally my partner did not want to return, but after some very long conversations he is now realised that a good job and nice weather are not worth choosing over family. My reason for wanting to lave are; * Family - Skype and phone just not the same as a family gathering around for Sunday lunch! I guess I value family very highly and want my children to as well * Christmas - Its just not Christmas in the sun! -mulled wine, turkey with frosty mornings beats Christmas on the beach * Belonging - To me, old friends are so important to have around - the ones you grew up with who really know you! * Distance - Part of my family when I was growing up, were in New Zealand, I guess to me it was always a bit sad that I didn't really know that side of my family that well. * Upbringing - I want my kids to have the upbringing I had - I had an awesome childhood! What seemed like endless summers playing with my cousins in the garden, walks with the family and dog in the New Forest, grandma knitting me jumpers and having to wear them when she visited, digging veggies in the garden with dad - the list is endless! Nice weather and better wages are great and I have (really) enjoyed having both, but long term, I see myself with everything listed above!

When Perth people go on holiday it is either 'down south' 'up north' or 'over east' This cracks me up.
