Hey Guys, can anybody recommend somewhere to get my car serviced around the joondalup area. It doesn't need a logbook service, just not had a general service since a bought it (around 15 months ago). It's a 2005 Mazda 3.

hi Millie, after landing last Tuesday night, I spent last week getting over jet lag and sorting are new place out. Having looked on gumtree/ indeed/ seek there seems to be plenty of work around. All depends on what type of work you want to do and how soon you need a job. Still seems plenty of work within the city.

Hi, for us Mandurah was just too far away from the city (50mins). So if you get a job in the city it's a lot of travelling each day. Joondalup is only 25mins. We have friends in the city plus the travel time for jobs is better.

Hi Guys, landing back in Perth on Tuesday and will be on the search for a carpentry job. I will be living in Joondalup so preferably with a house/home builder based around that area. Previously lived down in mandurah where I was working for a local builder on various government projects around WA. If anybody on hear has had any home renovations done or are Builders themselves, would be great to hear from you. I have got tools, transport and as mentioned above WA experience. Cheers Andy.

Thanks for the reply guys, I will check these suppliers out. I have checked on the NBN website and are address is currently not covered. I also keep seeing advertisments for "iinet" and have heard a few good things about them.

Hi Guys, landing back in Perth next Wednesday and moving into are apartment in Joondalup. Has anybody got any recommendations on which internet provider to sign upto? Its just my girlfriend and myself and would not need a house phone.

Hi Guys, My girlfriend and myself have just been granted are Permanent residency I am a carpenter and my girlfriend works in retail. We previously rented down in Mandurah whilst on are working holiday visa but it was just that bit to far out from the city. Any recommendations for nice suburbs would be much appreciated. We are thinking maybe north of the river this time. Cheers
