  1. The company we have came and did an inventory then quoted us on a 20ft container. The small items were listed as miscellaneous. He said we have about 870 cubic ft of stuff. It's not done by weight. I guess with the new stuff that is already flat, they may want to put it in own package. They will pack it when you want. You pay before they pack. You will have customs the other side which you can't get out of. There may be charges if it needs to be checked or fumigated I would get a few round and chat to them. I felt better once I had chatted to some and they vary in price, we had a 1,500 difference.

  5. Regarding the vaildating docs, we had the local Post office do it and it was free - well it cost me a bottle of wine. We were lucky as we had a village PO who would do the job. I took all docs inc photocopy's and they stamped and dated etc them all. It saved us a few hundred £££

  15. I found the want people with a visa in their hand. Have you spoken to an agent yet? Maybe first port of call. Good luck
  16. Careful who you choose, we had a bad agent, I did all the work and running around. I wish we hadnt gone the agent route - would of saved a lot of money. good luck to you.
  17. my daughter's love the idea of lessons in the sea
  18. what type of work do you do? I got through on my degree and work which is a lecturer in early years as for agents, be careful. the one we had was awful. there are some good ones and they always ask for money in instalments. in my experience I would do it myself, only because the company I had was awful and I did all the chasing...it would of saved me a stack. as for the dog, we are just starting the process, Its long winded and costly, it depends on the size of the dog tootoo. I did read on here that quarintine was being put to 10 days from this summer. that would be great.
