Folks I believe it is fairly simple to transfer my licence but do i need both the plastic card and the paper copy? Paper copy seems to have gone AWOL ??

I get both options from my work either shipping or a lump sum

Is it really that bad, are the rental websites not telling the truth, I am moving end of Dec and have an apartment for 4-6 weeks but would like to move into a house as early as possible. Looks like we may end up busy trying to find any old house and the dreamof a pool etc may not be realistic......

How much is average for a bike shipping to PerthPerth? Just been quoted £3000 - the bike worth £2500 - it's a road legal KX450(motor cross) - just wondering if its worth the cost - not sure what I likely to depend getting a new bike in Perth??? Can anyone enlighten me...Gary Looking into this just now if you just want to offroad it then its much easier you apply for a non road vehicle option. I plan to ship my race bike(s) under this ruling but you cant road reg it after that.

Hi my wife is heading to Perth early November to meet her new work mates and get set up with the team she will be there 3 weeks before returning to UK and we head down together 28th Dec. While there she will be opening a bank account. Can she open a joint account even though I wont be with her at the time and what is the best method of taking money to open an account we would deposit $10-$15k for now but she does not want to carry a large amount of cash. Just want to make it easiest for her as I already feel guilty her having to go on her own and dont want her stressing........Any help is much appreciated.

Hi all well just had my visa granted today so both my wife and myself are going to start putting all the plans in place 'lots to do' hoping to be down for 27th Dec for a start in the new year. Been very lucky both have a job to go to. Both very excited about a new opportunity...........

Well I have just signed on the line to transfer to Perth with my company. Will be heading down either Dec 1st or Jan 1st I think. Will be just my wife and myself we are both mid forties so the youngsters are grown up now its our time. Have travelled quite a bit with work but never stayed in one place for a long period of time so this will be a first looking at 3 years initially............hope to meet up with some of the folks from here when we get there.
