If you have front loaded medicals and police checks you may not be contacted by co and will go straight to grant.

My oh works in the oil and gas, after we got our visas there was a Australian expo in Aberdeen for the oil and gas industry. After speaking to someone from the company's he got a telephone interview a few days later and was offered a job. They wanted him to start quite quickly, we only had the visas 2 wks, and weren't ready to move that quickly. Initially we thought he would get a transfer with the company he worked at as they have office in Perth, but thing different now as he's now offshore full time. Might be worth looking on some companies own websites rather than just seek and agencies.

You are not able to remove uploaded documents, but a bank manager is not able to certify things for migration purposes. I would colour scan the originals and upload them too.
-
If your occupation is on schedule 2 you need a 12 month job offer, do you have a job offer?
-
I'm sure they take the payment when they receive the documents.
-
Processing for 189 will prob be faster by a few months than 186.
-
That is only the case for a 457 visa that the company has to pay for the fees, there is no rule for 186 or 187 employer sponsored visas, either party can pay the costs.
-
Prob cheaper to do it yourself and the nomination part is $540, if the employer uses an registered migration agent to prepare this as it requires a lot of detail for this, this could cost a few $1000+. If your application is straight forward the skills assessment should be the longest part. Def get advice from a registered migration agent in best way forward. If it was me I would go down the 189 route.

Your company can sponsor you at any time for 186PR visa if you hold a positive skills assessment and 3 years of work experience. There re is no rules who pays for the 186 so you could pay it all nomination and visa charges. If you don't meet the 3 years work experience - try the IELTS again , some people have had to sit it many times to get scores they need and will be a lot cheaper than paying all employers fees etc. What at is your occupation?

Each occupation is different on years of experience required to get a positive skills assessment, I don't think that teachers need a set amount of teaching experience, but require 4 years uni education to get a positive skills assessment. if your g/f is a degree qualified nurse she should have no prob qualifying for skills independent visa, and yourself as secondary applicant. She will need to sit the academic IETLS, and get skills assessment from ANMC. Prob look in to this soon if you are planning in going, rather than waiting until you finish your course, the visa process can take up to a year, but once granted the visa will give you 5 years to make the move (visa needs to be validated in the first year which can be done with short holiday). Least once you are finished your course you will be ready to go.

If she was eligible for a visa, then you could be included on the application as her defacto partner, if you meet the 12 months relationship requirement, ie living together, joint accounts etc. If granted PR you would have pR in your own right and if split up down the line you can remain in Australia with out any issues. What is her occupation?

Yes.... It's very windy here today!

Not with a sports science degree having family in Australia are little use now. Really depends what you are going to do with your degree when you are finished. I also have a sports science degree so know there is not a direct career path from some courses, my course was more biomedical science research based. exercise physiologist is on csol but your would need state nomination or employer sponsorship.

Still don't think they will pass the family balance test as step children are taken in to consideration so still 3 not in Australia. Children included in the balance of family test All children, including step children and adopted children, of both parents are counted in the balance of family test, unless the limited circumstances listed below apply. Note: A step-child is a child: https://www.immi.gov.au/migrants/family/balance-family.htm

If you have lodged EOI and not been invited to apply your points will automatically be reduced on your birthday. You you require positive skills assessment and IELTS results to lodge valid EOI without these you can only do a draft. All info will be required when apply for visa, you have 28days to upload these once you apply, you have 60 days to apply from the day you receive your invitation.

Ian harrop and overseas emigration merged together. http://www.ianharrop.co.uk/weve-merged-with-overseas-emigration-visas/
-
Never heard of them. But when choosing an agent I would chose one that is a MARA registered to deal with your whole case not one that uses 3rd party contractors. Try Go Matilda, Visa Bureau, overseas emigration/Ian harrop all well respected agents. http://migrationagentreviews.com/australia-agent-reviews.html

Yes you likely will qualify for a visa, you may need to look at the 190 to get 5 points from state nomination, and your partner will need to sit the IELTS to gaing extra points. You prob would only be able to claim 5 years for work experience as the first 5 years would be deducted as if did apprenticeship. TRA need 8 years experience 5 as apprentice and 3 as full qualified trade Best run you case past a registered migration agent to make sure you qualify, and if you would be able to get a positive skills assessment which will be the difficult part. -

We got a Halifax clarity card, there is no transaction fees for overseas payments. Think I seen it on Martin money tips.

Your looking at about $100,000aud of couple. 50% of children need to be living permanently in Australia the sponsoring child settled ie living in Australia for at least 2 years. There is a sticky thread running on Poms in Oz majority of people applied for PCV.

There is the option to split it and go on to the temp visa first 173 for 2 years this also splits the cost so could save up the rest of the money once in Australia and working.
