  1. Hi Hannah, I'm heading out mid August on a 457 from Scotland. Whereabouts are you from? Good luck with everything!
  2. Hi Josie, I'm 23 and heading out myself to start a new job for the 20th of August... I'll be looking to meet new people when I get there so keep in touch. And if your boyfriend likes football & beer even better!!
  3. Seem to be going through pretty quickly then! Should hopefully hear back soon. What's the process? Will I be contacted by the Immigration Dept? All I had to do was complete the questionnaire and return all relevant documents to my new company's immigration consultant so she's been dealing with everything for me.
  4. Lodged on Wednesday 27th June. Should I expect to hear back soon?
  5. Success would just about be ok for me. Rockingham would be a bit too far out… I'll be working in the Central Business District so don't want too much travelling in the morning and nights. Ideally I'm looking for something max 25 mins travel. I don't plan to get a car for a few months so I'll be relying on public transport. Not got anything sorted yet mate. I just plan on staying in a hostel / hotel for the first week then hunt for a flatshare during the week. I'll head out a week before my start date to give me some time.
  6. Thanks a lot Jen' date=' appreciate it. I'll send you a message closer to the time then. [/size']
  7. I'll be working in the CBD mate so possibly in the city or quite close anyway (within 15/20 mins travel) You got anything lined up?
  8. Have you contacted agents in that line of business? It'll take away the hassle of setting up interviews. They do the hard work and he just does the interview.
  9. I'm moving from Scotland around the 14th/15th of August. I have an approximate start date of the 20th of August in Perth CBD. Just waiting on the visa approval at the moment.I'm 23 and heading over myself so I'll be looking to meet new people :)I like a few beers, going out and football! Give me a shout if you want to meet upCheers
  10. Seems a pretty standard question but here goes.... I'll be on a basic salary of $60,000 dollars + Super + quarterly commission. I'm single and I plan on moving into a fairly low rent flatshare. Can you advise on if this is a decent / comfortable wage? Cheers
  11. Hey, I'm starting a new job in the CBD on the 20th August. I'll be heading over around the 14th / 15th. If anyone has a spare room in a flatshare please keep me in mind. Or, if anyone is looking for new flatmates I'd be interested in that too. PM if you have any info Cheers!
