My friends daughter is starting a law degree in the UK in September. They visited 6 universities and not one was willing to treat them as domestic fee paying.

also Alkimos is a million miles from anywhere. South of Burns Beach Rd is my rule. Not that areas north of that are awful just that the increased travel time to decent facilities for me is prohibitive.

My child attends St Mark's and would thoroughly recommend.

Duncraig better than ORSHS in terms of academics from the experience of friends and the ATAR results. You get the same teenage issues but from what I am led to believe they are dealt with better at Duncraig.

I'm the same, certified copies of mine and my daughters birth certs, no problems at all. -
Should add to that excellent info is that they don't have to stay till year 12. They can leave at the end of year 10 if they go to TAFE (college) or have some sort of full time job/apprenticeship.

I don't suppose you had your container delivered today? If you did then you are in the same street as me!!

Depends when her birthday is as to what year she goes in to. My daughter is also 15 and goes in to year 10 this year 2018. Year 11 here would be born between 1st July 2001 and 30th June 2002, Year 10 in 2018 would be 1st July 2002 and 30th June 2003. Ali has given you good information with regards course structure for 11/12. However, entry to the subjects is usually granted based on performance in year 10 so I would say doing the exams in the UK won't do your daughter any harm. Does she know what she wants to do? Does she want to go down a Uni path or more of a vocational/work path?

I live in Connolly and if you need any help or info just message. My kids both went to Connolly and I used to work there and volunteer in the canteen and ran the uniform shop for a number of years. It's a lovely school with fantastic staff and families. You have picked a great suburb to live in. Have a great Christmas.

Where is he at school and what are his interests? -
After 12 years here I have recently shifted from Commonwealth for home and Allianz for car and taken out policies with RAC. Have had 1 contents claim and the price and process has been second to none. Would thoroughly recommend.

She would start year 10 here in WA in Feb 2018.

I have no first hand experience of the school but a couple of friends had kids through Carine SHS and were very happy.

I am also in Connolly, if you need to know anything local just message me. Been here 12 years so I am quite familiar with the area.

Roast Chicken for us on Sunday too. Will use the left over carcass today to make thai soup with chicken meatballs and rice noodles. My 15 year old daughter's favourite meal I make.

I am also living from freezer and pantry so tonight was chicken and pistachio korma with rice and parathas. Really tasty and just warming up required.

Would thoroughly recommend Acura Electrical. On time, clean and tidy, good workmanship, polite and reasonably priced. Best tradie I have used in 12 years of living here. http://www.acuraelectrical.com.au/

the one in Hilton is more than just a break in and has quite rightly been reported. I think you are just making stuff up now. either that or you live in some really crappy suburb!! Scaremongering at it's best!! One of our windows was broken accidentally last year and it cost $130 to replace the glass.

Joondalup Lakers and Whitfords Hockey are the 2 main ones in this area.

It's a while ago but an airline refused to let me fly with my 4 year old who was recovering from Chickenpox. It's worth making sure before you travel that you have the appropriate medical clearance.

Perth currently has the population equivalent to that of Greater Manchester and Leeds combined. People need to realise that we are a very large city and crime is obviously going to reflect that. Come on people, some perspective is required.
