Hi Hi just to let you know that there is a group of people of all ages that meet up every Thursday evening (term time) to sing, anything from The Beatles to Adele. You don't have to have a good singing voice, just enjoy singing. We have such a good time and also get together for a night out. We are based NOR at Mullaloo, pm for details.... I don`t know secret harbour,but know Butler. Butler has a mix of private and social/council housing, there is a lot of petty crime, quite a few burglaries etc. wouldn't recommend the area. I am sure there must be safer and more vibrant areas somewhere in WA

Yes Ed, I lived on Fleet Estate for a number of years, a long while ago.... in fact both my children were born there, then moved to Hextable, then Longfield.... so know the area very well.

Hi Scoon101, we are in the northern suburbs but we go to Kalamunda market every month for a scout round the stalls and then a meal and a few bevvies before we get the bus and train back (don't drive cos of the few bevvies lol), we will probably be there again first Saturday in Feb, if you fancy a wine/coffee chat, regards Eileen and Rich

Three years ago, my daughter, son in law and three girls left Uk for a new life in Perth. Me and Hubby decided that we would travel with them (as three girls under 5.. well that was my excuse) and stay with them for 4 months until they settled in. That all went well, but we had to leave them. My God I do not want to go through anything like that again. When I arrived back in UK to my house, I couldn't have felt worse if they had all died. Then to add to it my daughter phoned to say she was having another baby.... so eight months later we were back on the plane and arrived in Perth. To cut a long story short we are here all the time and loving being with them full time..... but...... we would love to meet up with other people of our age and have a drink a meal etc.
