  6. It will be available from 1st dec......pm me for more details if you are interested cheers shelli
  7. I live in Duncraig and it's only 10 mins to Perth via freeway.....so not quite a distance out as you suggest !!!
  8. Hi you don't need to spend lots of money buying an expensive slow cooker....you can get cheap ones at woolworths that look just like the expensive ones and work just as well for a fraction of the cost ...you can get 6 litre ones for about $30
  9. Hi I have no home phone....you don't really need them anymore. I have mobile with Optus....and until recently had wireless with Vodaphone....after nearly 2 yrs of constant problems...with poor service and disconnecting several times a day( I googled Vodaphone and found out this is very common for Vodaphone customers)I even had a person in the store say they had to take my word for it that it didn't work at home because it did work in the store...several new sims and wireless modems and no difference....Optus customer service was way better than Vodaphone !!!! i went to Optus and got a month by month wireless plan...paid $80 for the wireless modem...it's normally $24.95 month for 5 GB but because I am already with Optus it's only $14.95 month....great service never had any connection issues . hope this helps :-)
  10. Thats very expensive, I knew someone who did a 2 storey house for a lot less than that. there are lots of window cleaners who do free quotes, just get a few and compare
  11. i don't think you will be using a pool in perth in August....it will be too cold !!!!!
  12. there are not brothels in every suburb !!!!!! How can you justify making that sort of statement.
  13. You can get them to look at your house and give a free quote....get a few quotes and go from there....it's not usually an hourly rate..it's based on the number of windows, and size etc look in your local newspaper for window cleaners in your area.
  14. There are plenty of window cleaners in Perth, and quotes for cleaning windows can vary from $200 to $700 for the same. 2 storey house. i had a local guy who I met cleaning windows at a local beach cafe,do my windows in my single storey 4 bed home for $90.
  15. It might be cheaper in Northam, but the chance of finding work in a rural community is not good. And as someone else said all you would get in mandurah for $250,000 is a beach shack that you could not live in for more than a week. Sorry to be negative but you have to be realistic about the Perth property market.....more than 10 yrs ago it was a very different story...I bought my 4 bed 2 bath with pool in a great location in Duncraig for $227,000. but the mining boom has changed all that and I had my house valued 2 weeks ago at $800,000.
  16. Hi I don't know if you realise what the housing market and values are in Perth...but I can't see you buying anything more than a 1 bed apartment anywhere for much more than $240,000. i just tried to google 3 bed houses for that price and nothing came up.
  17. Hi Rach i live in Duncraig which is a lovely family friendly suburb, lots of parks and open spaces and and 2 high schools and several primary schools. Warwick train station is closeby and only 15 mins to the CBD,any commute by freeway to city is a very busy long drive. Houses in this area are selling before or as soon as they hit the market, many selling for 10 percent above asking price....so a good indication of the popularity of the suburb....also only 5 mins from the beach....and close enough to freeway to get to other areas easily. I have short term accommodation at my home if you are interested and need somewhere when you come over....plenty of room for a family...have a family from UK arrived yesterday who have 2 young children. cheers Shelli
  18. 2nd car no longer needed, airconditioned. great little first car on run around car,my daughter has a new car so no longer needs this one. Just registered till may 2013....3rd party insurance less than $200yearly. $3,000 pm me if interested Thanks Shelli

Cheers Shelli
  21. Hi I live in Perth and you have given yourselves plenty of time to find a permanent rental...and if you are willing to pay $650 to $800 per week should easily find something that suits you,I had a young couple with a baby stay with me for only 1 week....and they found a brand new townhouse nearby for $800 a week walking distance to beach and close to public transport and CBD. I have just been invited to list my short term rental on a new website which has lots of advice for people relocating to Perth........check out http://www.livethelifeinperth.com a lady who migrated to Perth a few years ago has set it up. Hope this helps Shelli
