  1. Hi We wanted to arrange a babysitter to stay overnight one Saturday from 3pm to noon on the Sunday. The girls that have helped us before for evenings are early twenties and uni students and we would try them first. BUT we would really like some guidance on what we could offer as a fair wage for the 21 hours overnight work. We have two kids ages 6 and 8 who go to bed about 8pm. Its so tricky to talk about cash!! Many thanks

    Aqwa

I think that will be loads of time. Its a great forecast for tomorrow so no need to rush the outside attractions. If you have kids they will love the touch pool and you may have to drag them away! Adults will probably be less interested in that! Coffee shop and tourist shop are pretty good too. Remember Hillarys is next door and open late so plenty of choices there for coffee or dinner once AQWA closes. The tunnel at AQWA is pretty impressive - enjoy

    Hello!

Hi Titch, We are hoping to emigrate in October and have decided to try Mindarie at first. I am flying out in a weeks time to try and pick up a rental there. You mentioned that you hadn't applied for private school yet and I just thought I would mention that Peter Moyes in Mindarie is starting a new class for year 3 commencing next Feb. One of our girls is 7 and looks like she got a space. If you have a little one the same age, it may be worth giving them a shout. Otherwise, private school places are like hen's teeth! The school then prioritises spaces for siblings so hopefully it won't be too many years before both our children are in the same school. We have chosen Mindarie because of the school but depending on the rental market then may have to reconsider! Great advice about a rental pack - I'll get all our details looked out this weekend and wait and hope that our dream property comes up SOON!! We have promised the children a pool which may be a big mistake - fingers crossed!!

Aberdeen 4c today - brrrrrrrrrr! Gill
  5. Hi, I am the Mum in a family of four hoping to move over this summer. Living in the city centre of Aberdeen at the moment. Do you have any tips for international removals? So many people emigrating from 'Deen so there must be a company that the oil companies etc rely on. Hoping our house is sold this week..... We are not in the oil industry but are just ready for a mid-life adventure in a lovely climate!!! Gill
