  2. Just wondered never used UK schools so was thinking WAY back when i went ... what the hours were ? hehe ..
  3. Isn't the same hours as the UK ? Kindy is only a few days a week 9-3pm , Pre Primary is 8.50 to 2.50 at our school and i have to say my daughter is still ready to do things after school and play at the park etc ..Its me that lacks the energy

  5. I always like Perth zoo, take a picnic and its great fun! Heathcote park another good one with little's and a picnic or just adults and go for a coffee at the cafe and drink the view

  7. On from a couple of other posts where is your favourite place for an outing is it North or south or East ? Yanchep Park ... north Mandurah ... South Adventure world .. South Freemantle ... South Kings park .... Smack in the middle lol Not to mention so many more

I think its a very strange thing we lived East and south and would not have had a clue where to live north , you definitly get a feel for where you want , i used to live next to Murdock at Leeming fab place .. lots of great places South and all nationalities .. we live in Baldivis which is 25 mins drive to the murdock area or hop on a train , i think south seems spread out a bit more but thats just me thinking will it stay that way ? who knows .. look at Kardinya , Bateman , Willeton , Canning vale , southern River ,Atwell , Bull Creek , North lake , Bibra lake.. some really nice areas..work , schools , beaches , all factor in to whats right for you

So , have you had a great day out here in WA recently and where was it ? what made it a great place to see .. ratings please !!:ssign15: Ours was Yanchep national park on Monday , it was great we walked the footpaths , spotted Koala's in the tree's had a picnic and then went to the caves for a tour ! brilliant family day out so peacefull and pretty , we want to go again and do the Aboriginal tour as well .. take your ear plugs the Black cockatoo's that are becoming extinct love to sing and squark at you ... bliss .. 5 star rating from the Boots clan !http://www.westernaustralia.com/en/Pages/Attraction.aspx?n=Yanchep_National_Park&pid=9001631

  14. Hi Karen , welcome to PP where abouts are you south of the river ? also have you looked at playgroup WA i joined that when we came over and met some great peeps at a local playgroup held at a local school

  16. EEK , have a look at the accomdation section on the forums , there are a couple of rental agents on there good luck !
  17. I would even if a week .. it could take you a week or so to stroll around seeing some and other stuff , unless its cheaper to stay in a hotel or B&B etc

Do you have stores called Thingz up north and Bizzare love em they are dotted all over down here and also wanneroo markets don't they have odd bits , todds auctions in forrestfield are good for furniture .. there is a good thingz at cockburn central right hand side as you get there not in the actual shopping center ..

    I don't have enough days of the week to what my daughter would like to do ... she has just started Acro and she swims, park picnics , playdates , why oh why does work get in the way of all the fun stuff!! on a serious note we have had letters from school over the past year regarding weirdo's watching or attempting to pick up children etc same things happen all over the world i know ..
