  4. Hi all , whilst my wife is working hard - our daughter is keen on dance , and it would be great if i could take her to a class in the week. She is 3 and we live in the Kallaroo area ……… So if anyone can advise - this would be fab )

  11. cheers guys , infact we did view a property which for us was just superb - as it gave scope to build above etc ( and when money permits )….. Anyhow we spoke to the estate agents mortgage broker and it was her that said we really need 6 months ideally pay slips etc . But wow @ali here two weeks and bought a house - that is superb !
  12. Hi all , hope you are enjoying this winter sun and fabulous sunsets here in WA ;o) Anyhow , just a question really regarding finance and mortgage's ? We have been here 3 months i think ….. So once we got here just bought the cheapest and most reliable car we could - However how long do you have to be in country and how many wage slips do you need for car finance ? Also , same for buying a property really - is it 3 months wage slips to buy? Any info on both subjects would be fab ;o) Oh and do we think property here will drop in price over the next year or so ??? Just where we live - house's seem to be selling pretty quick ! Think thats about it , Cheers Guys

  14. Tricky thread this ! must be awful when one parent wants to emigrate and the other obviously isnt . good luck anyhow . School is tricky though … as you really need to see and get a feel …. but yep good luck )
  15. Also be prepared for spending some serious money we got through £15k in 8 weeks ….. whilst waiting for job to start! Things like "living" …. buy a car ….. lease house … lease bond…. med bills …… etc etc . all im saying is be prepared ;o) But it is fab ….. it really is
  16. i think if last time - you couldnt leave family , then it will be the same this time round . Also if your husband is earning well as an electrician , bare this in mind …… i keep hearing from alot of people here near Perth that are struggling. Also myself as a Bricklayer - i can earn more and work less in the UK than here! However the kids are happy and thats great ….. just give it a good ol think ;o)

    Car hire

    we found bayswater "no birds" fantastic ….. got a great rav 4 and for a couple of weeks , also hired a satnav and baby seat …. but yep we where really pleased . good price too ;o)
  18. i know that the chap who previously rented our house before us had to move to Melbourne due to no work in IT ……. however im kno expert at all !!! So hopefully someone else on here can help ;o)

  20. We just walked outside and kind airport staff shown us a taxi to fit 4 and megga load of luggage…… then off we went )

But back on track , we are not teachers …. however our son attends secondary school and we worked with UK secondary school teachers - And wow , the relationship over here with teacher and pupil also teacher and parent are second to none , We are over the moon and the teachers all seem very happy in there roles . Good look guys …… Everyone remembers a good teacher X
  24. Education and intelligence are pretty far from each other in my experience …… All the "better educated" means is just a bit of writing on a CV . But then youre against another shool / higher education etc etc …. ….And alas this is just another example of a small mindness that is wrong with the world today Xx
  25. Aww man …. thats a shame buddy , i do hope it mends soon ;o) Yeah board is 7 .6" mini mal , however daughter has been ill so not been able to pick up ! hope its still there at end of the week ! Where do you recomend i try first ? I Keep watching the guys up north beach of mullaloo , some nice little waves - so might give that a whirl first. But keep in touch buddy , please do )
