Just thought we would see from you guys in sunny WA how you think things are going … jobs , economy, expenses etc ? Really wondering as we know about job freeze for us nurse's …. however a freind of ours has just popped back from Perth , and hes been telling us how hard things are at the minute . However he has had it pretty good for the last 8 years ! …. Basically hes now selling pizzas and struggling a bit. So , yep how do you guys think its going out there ……. UK is supposed to be out of ressesion but with Europe hanging over its head - were not to sure ! We've both agreed … as long as we can eat and get down the beach at least 5 times a week …… life should be pretty cool ;o)

im still speaking to hospital once a month …. new one dosent open until end of year i believe. So have also been talking to two agencies that where pretty keen once visa ia in place . But we will see , realistically wont be over until mid june now i feel . However i do think that if im over there - i will have a better chance than being over here in the UK applying …. As i'll be there in person ………. walking the streets with sandwich board probably …. Giz a job ;o)

Hi, I am a nurse and been through the AHPRA nightmare too. I just used passport for id, no to crb - but like emyc468 said you have to get an international criminal history - there should be the link through AHPRA website. On the website there is a form for your employer to put things in for your reference - just make sure they sign and date it - as mine had to be re sent as she forgot to date it. Regarding notory certifying documents - look through google for your local notary publics - these i found where cheaper at £7 per document. They are a few arround but just email a few. Hope this helps lisa

Yes, we are holding on to ordering the move cube until visa is a cert - so yep may give it a couple more weeks ;o)

Very true …. i think we are just being alittle over excited, however whenever we look at flights they dont seem cheaper late booking ? but we will see ;o)
