cheers guys ….we were just thinking some of the older houses are closer to the beach and many have a nice footprint to work with …. So the idea was just to change layout somewhat. Due to us being used to new builds in the UK getting smaller and smaller i think we could make something special out of an older home . Weve spent all our time renovating houses and last one we built ourselves …… exciting times ;o)

Hey , just a quicky. …….. Our son has an xbox 360 but is wanting a xbox one - So would any of you guys advise on buying here in UK and shipping out ? or waiting to get over to WA and buying from there ? Also can uk games play on xbox ? Any info would be fab ;o)

Hi all you amazing people, Ive been looking at suburbs and house's etc …. And are thinking of buying older and maybe altering it - knocking a few walls about. Just wondering is it like Uk where i will need building regs ? planning? engineer calcs etc ???? Also im sure its a year …. but how long do we have to be in Oz before we can buy ? Oh also one last thing ….. the Australian cash grant for first time buyers - does this include old house's or new builds only ? Never know we may look at new build but like to keep options open ;o) Thanks guys

All , im really anoyed at … is i sat talking to them on the phone asking what relevant documents i needed - this was done weeks ago and weeks ago they said fit to work was suitable. Not a problem that if it wasnt - as i could have done new police check …….. BUT , done it then weeks ago - not now ! Crikey thousands spent and these guys are useless . Rant over….. Cheers guys

Thats crazy when i have just had a police check for ANMAC, just because its with a different company, but still for Australia…. Stupid

Hey guys , well we thought things where going too well ………. ……….. So my latest email was from visa immigration : asking for a police check as one provide via "fit for work" isnt usable ??? However this police check was ok for anmac …. ok for apphra ! Also , before all this i spoke to border control to make sure all i was subitting was correct - And they told me my "fit for work" police check was fine …. So all sent off. Will email them and call them later as this is time and money . Just wondered if any of you guys had simlar experiences ……. or any advice ??? Cheers Guys

Hi Em, We put our house on the market as soon as i was offered a job at hospital in Perth ….. however like ive mentioned so many times - job wasnt really there to be offerd !!!! So we sold home - however did have to pay redemtion on mortgage ( £7k ouch ) …… but at least its gone . We always wanted to sell before we went out - as our friends couldn't sell theres and had to rent it out whilst living in Oz …. This caused them so many problems ! However after 4 years of trying its now sold and there building a 5 bedroom home …. Fab X

This is the idea ! We thought about buying a vw camper ( not an old one) …… and tour abit of europe before we head out , still might if nursing jobs maintain to be on lesser side ;o)

Hey guys …. if all these crimes makes you a tad skitish i am ( its me Paul, not wife Lisa ) qualified in self defence / close combat and would be more than happy to share a few tricks to terminate attakers antics . Also ideal for women as not based on strength …… But however once we land i might be looking into gym work, and looking to set up some personal training sesions . Anyhow stay safe guys ;o)

Hi guys , just thought would give a bit of feed back regarding our meds assessment . Our medical was booked with Spire hospital , little ashton ( near brum ) Two adults , Two children : £ 970 Adults - we gave blood , chest x-rays , urine sample , body check up and a nice chat about health history. kids more or less the same - but no bloods . Just wanted to say guys … we know its expensive … but its something you have to do for visa , However i would recomend this hospital to all thats close … we where treated so well and the kids looked after splendidly x Free coffees and biscuits …. oh and onsight parking. Just thought we would share , if any of you guys are booking meds i would very much recomend this hospital x Cheers guys

Best thing to do is take alook on line at jobs in Perth …. we were looking at Bubury mail yesterday and a good few adverts for construction trades ….. i reckon if you want it - and its meant to be ….. then go for it ;o)

End of the day guys … you cant take it with you !!! Why stress over mortgage payments until theyre paid off 10 years before you die ! Just enjoy life and live for now x
