  1. Hi im hairdresser and hairdressing was taken off main sol about yr ago and off the state one last month. So i have found only way in to be employer sponsorec which also changed on 23 nov making it more tricky for employer to prove there are no candidates in oz for the position. Dont be put off where there is a will there is a way. Im hoping to be ready early next yr feb time. Good luck

  3. Hi all i came on to ask about practice material people have used for ielts. Now however im worried because im rubbish in exams and suffer with being struck dumb by nerves. We are looking to apply for 190 but having read your posts what would the area of rockingham come under is that regional?. I have recieved email reply from company interested in me but 457 out of question due to school fees etc. We have 3 kids!!!. Any suggestions or advice greatfully recieved. Great post thanks

I have been reading and have found that although there may be plenty people are looking for english trained hairdressers... Do you think this is correct?. 8. The only complication i think in our app would be the fact i need stat dec from ex hubby to take 2 older kids. But he has said that it will be fine he will do so. So im gonna get that b4 we lay out the visa fee. I dont see anything else being an issue i myself will be main applicant and oh has occ that is also on ss list. 10. Thanks again debs It would be me for skill asses because oh has only been in his position for about a yr. I have been qualified hairdresser/barber for 20yrs . before when we looked migrating imagine my disappointment to find hairdresser was no longer on the sol. saved by the fact that it is on wa ss . so if im right i need skills asses then ielts then lodge eoi? sorry if sound a bit dense. but my brain is whirling. Many thanks. am i right in thinking its just you and 1 child? janine x

  12. Yes i know what you mean it does take over your every thought. That has helped loads i feel less worried about it now. Kids are definately any parents main concern in a decision like this. I work 4 full days a week too so any time i do have i spend researching with a 1 yr old at my heels. But they r what drives me i see a lot better future there than here for all 3 of them. Thanks again Janine x
  13. Hi Sarah Just curious at what stage of options is your eldest at school. Mine eldest is in yr8 at school and just chose his options not long ago. So he will start yr 9 in sept. Have you like myself worried about changing school at this vital stage?. Any suggestions on this would be gratefully recieved. Thanks Janine
  14. Thanks Angela yes that does help we have had chats with an agent. They are helpful but its another 3000 pounds, which in our opinion would be better spent when we arrive in wa. I will continue to read the posts and butt in every now and then if you dont mind. Id like to know the thread of the guy that went from not knowing anything to completion if anyone can tell me that. Think that would also be a helpful read. Thanks again good luck all. Janine

  19. Hi all great to be onboard. We were wondering if anyone has used the visa bureau as agents?. this is the company who came back to us quickest and have answered a number of random and possibly silly questions we have had thus far. Any advice replies greatfully recieved. I am a hairdresser/barber with 20 yrs experiance and my partner at present works for a marina as a locksman/banksman. We have 3 children and have been advised the 190 is the way to go. Thanks all Janine
