  1. Hi We live in Halls Head, we arrived 4 months ago. We're living in Old Halls Head and our children go to Halls head Primary. They have settled in well and love going to school. We're we live is nice & quiet. Lots of parks and not far from the beach. Shopping centre near by. I don't work at the moment (hope soon) so can't say about commuting to CBD, Hubby drives over an hour for work, but that is his choice. There are good and bad parts in every area and depends what type of house you want, new build no garden, or older house great garden. I like living here and hope to buy eventually. You can only try it, but if your children settle in a school, would you want to move them if you don't like an area. Good luck with what you decide.
  2. Hi Maginca We are also a "young at heart" 40 something couple from Liverpool We have 2 kids boy (6) and girl (8) we arrived in Feb 13, so still new to Area. We live in Halls Head. Hubby just started work, I'm still looking. If you fancy meeting for a cuppa or something give me a shout. Donna
  3. We get ours redirected to brother in laws, he bins the junk and scans important stuff to us so no expense on either side, plus we get it straight away.

We tried up north on our validation trip but it was not for us, when we travelled back to Mandurah/Halls Head, we felt like it was home. kids love it here and close to school, just need to find a job to start paying for this lovely life. Lol xxx:mad: Donna
  6. Hi David We have recently moved to Halls Head and currently staying in a holiday rental. The prices of holiday rentals differ depending on the time of year. We contacted the owner direct and got it a lot cheaper than the site if you stay for about 4 weeks. We have struggled getting a decent rental, there are some which are not good, and some which are great, but you have to go see the property before you can apply. Lots turn up for the nice ones. Unsure on distance still, so cant help with travel. hope you get yourself sorted. Donna
