Hi we've been here just over a week. Would you mind if we came along as we have a 7 and 4 year old and looking to meet other people in our situation.

We started the process in march ielts, april skills assessment, june medicals, in between this we had instalments for visa and agent fees. received our visa in July,then booked flights August, deposit paid for removals balance due 7 days prior to leaving. It is spread out but I would recommend saving for the bulk of the cost as it is a stressful but exciting time! Also factor in initial holiday let if required!

Hi Angela we have just gone thru this process and are moving out to Perth end of November on PR visa 190. This is what we have spent to date approx!! visa £2000 agent £2500 skills assessment £1600 ielts £135 medicals £800 police checks £90 flights one way!!! £2400 removals £4000 but it will be worth it!!! john

We are moving out end of November and was planning on taking my Mercedes vito van (6 seater as have wife, 2 kids plus dog) thought this would be ideal out there. But am having second thoughts reading everybody's comments on this thread. Any advice would be appreciated

190 Visa granted exactly 1 month after medicals!!! Hopefully this will give you guys waiting some timescale to work too. Like others before the wait is horrible, checking emails everyday then out of the blue got a call from our agent this morning visa granted! At last we can now begin to get things booked and hopefully move out by end of November.

Congrats to you!!! Hopefully we won't be far behind we lodged our 190 on 4 June but as yet have not been assigned CO. What's your plans now?

Great opportunity for you guys to house sit will give you a great base to sort your rental out. We are also looking NOR not exactly sure at moment, we went on a reccy jan this year & have narrowed it down to a few suburbs but will look at these in some detail when we head out there. We have 2 children girl 7 & boy 4 plus dog.. Keep in touch we will let you know our progress

We lodged our 190 visa on 4 June had medicals yesterday 17 June better get the PCC off ASAP as we want to go November time all being well. Look forward to seeing everyone's progress

Hi we received WA state sponsorship around 10 days after applying, our invite to lodge took 6 days we are lodging visa this week and been informed that visa should be here around 8 weeks or so.
