hi levi, yes i score well in speaking, sad to say 5 attempts and still not there yet but my speaking is 9+ every time, main thing is to relax and keep calm. I have a mate who`s always in my office having a brew and chatting with me at work and i just pretend the guy interviewing me is him lol.

A breeze lol, im english and failed 5 times now, im not stupid aswell, i run my own business and have done so for 10 years, I only need 7`s aswell, it`s always reading and listening that gets me i always score 6.5. Speaking and writing i find easy but if you have any tips for me on reading and listening that would be cool

Same as mate, im up for ielts for 5th time in a couple of weeks:mad:, happy tho as i have my skills certificate back all`s good, keep your chin up and you will get through.

yea thanks makes sense, i know people who pass just say practice practice practice but on my last test i did 4 days a week practice for a month and on the day it seemed to do more harm than good because you think ... well i cant do any more than i have and it seemed to put extra pressure on, like you say i think you just have to try to prepare natrually with a little studying on the build up once you know the format and what to expect.

yea good luck with this , i think if your first language is english you would have to have done really really bad to fail, if you ran out of time in the reading that may be your downfall, im up again in 10 days for my 4th attempt, i always seem to fail by 0.5 on reading and listening tho last time i also failed on writing for the 1st time a very poor 5.5 and i actually thought i did well in it......aaa well one day lol, good luck on your results its propper nervy aint it on the day you get them. Ps if anyone has any good tips on listening or reading please post

did you not need to do ielts ? bloody thing is slowing my application no end

Hello floor man hows things going, i am also a flooring fitter and failed my eilts twice now by 0.5% last time it`s a bloody pain and money making scam for sure... how far are you with your application ? im near the end just need eilts ! do you know what the flooring trade is like there, if you p.m me we may have some advice for each other.
