Was having problems getting finance to buy a car as only arrived late November, banks were telling Me 6 months to get a credit card never mind finance on a car. Really needed something as working backshifts, although Transperth is a good service connecting trains and buses meant getting home at a reasonable time was challenging. Magic Nissan, 164 Leach Highway, Melville only 7.5 miles (12km) from central Perth were truly magic, arranged finance for Me within hours with only a few readily available documents required, payslip/bank statement etc,they got Me into a brand new Nissan X-trail within a couple of days, as the majority of the new car sales staff are ex-pat poms ranging from 20 years to 6 months in Oz, I explained this site to them and said I would recommend them 100% to other new arrivals, their manager Mike Chapman has offered a $1000 accessory pack on any brand new Nissan purchased when this site is mentioned by any Perth Poms member.

Hi wondering if anyone can help ! think the heat is affecting my ability to think ! i have recieved an email from AHPRA saying assessment is complete and i am considered eligible for registration (thank god) in order to grant registration i need to provide ID. Do i go to AHPRA office and do this ? do i get reg there and then ? ive read my email and re read it , someone who has any experience of this able to help ? thanks

thats great , we ended up with two move cubes - long story , due to arrive end of Jan , i hope all our stuff arrives safe and earlier than expected !

im glad i see this SJT - i love xmas , its my fav time of year - but not this year - hope it is due to the fact were just here and it all feels slightly strange . Both my kids are in school and loving every minute of it don't seem too fussed about xmas (yet) . We dont get our container till Jan so no memories of home to look at. i hope i get in xmas spirit when i put on my new xmas tshirt and hit the beach ! xx

well I called them last night - ive put the payment in wrong , totally stupid error on my part , they said I had to send that page of the form again to them with correct amount and payment details - that's been sent this morning ! I asked why I had not been contacted as yet , the lady said someone would be in touch shortly , I do hope there is nothing else is wrong ! I was going to wait but decided just to send the new payment bit away.

ive still heard nothing - they have taken no money - used the e-contact form on website to ask if they had received my application , no word back as yet ;( does anyone have a contact number for Perth office ? Ive tried the number on website few times , keeps telling me there closed and the opening hours are ... (im calling within office hours Aus time ).

i applied to aphra just brfore you - heard nothing , no payment has been taken either ?;( think i might email them to see if they have my form . We had form 80 requested by CO dont think everyone gets asked for them , prob best you have them ready in just in case !

movecube takes about 3 months to arrive , they offer 4 weeks storage uk and 2 weeks storage in aus for free if you need it . booked flights with emirates - dubai - singapore - perth

Difficulty in getting someone on the phone with correct info . Spoke to two people who gave different info re deposit and availability. When i called today , spoke to a man called Karl - really helpful - cleared up questions i had , you dont get packing boxes free , thought it said you did on website but thats only for other shipping methods! were going with the large cube.

how long are people in general waiting to hear from APHRA , ive recieved no communication not even a wee email ! im worried i wont have my registration in time for me getting to oz (5 weeks) . Only sent my applicatiion off on the 8th October , so not long ago - but just wondering about timescales ! thanks

well we got visa grant - always knew we would go this year if visa came through ! its all systems go for us now - had tears all day sunday , notice handed in at work !!! trying to book move cube - today , this is proving tricky. 5 weeks and counting ....

I too remain waiting , i emailed my agent on friday , no reply as yet, great to see people getting there visas but wee bit worrying when they lodged after me ! hope everyone waiting hears soon
