  2. Mindarie Senior College is a state senior high school located in the northern suburb of Mindarie, Perth, Western Australia. Flexible hours offer students the ability to experience learning through placements at University, TAFE, or in the workforce. The college offers a wide choice of courses for those aiming for Uni and TAFE specialising in the Arts. Technology is used throughout the college enabling students to access their courses on-line. Very welcoming staff and treated our son like an adult. Great range of courses and easy to get to - areas covered are Mindarie, Kinross, Burns Beach and Old Quinns.
  3. Hi we live in Mindarie and I personally would only take the train (from Clarkson Station) as the traffic is really busy at peak times. The motorway is usually two lanes but to put in perspective I feel Perth is the size of Manchester and on the train it takes 20-25 mins on a clean, direct and running on time train so it is no hassle. However if you are looking to work outisde of the city train and bus might be more timely and in that case you may want to look at living nearer where you work.
  4. Mindarie and surrounding areas of Burns Beach, Illuka are fab to stay and are on the coast side of Marmion avenue, the north-south arterial road that directly links Mindarie to the Perth metropolitan area in the south. Currambine, Kinross and Connolly are on the "non" coast side and will be cheaper rents/holidays stay and to be fair it is only a couple of minutes to the beach than if you were on the coastal side. The Mindarie area is excellent for further trips north. For example Two Rocks, Yanchep (National Park), Gingin Observatory, Moore River is amazing at Guilderton and then possibly an hour north of that you have Cervantes (The Pinnacles), Jurein Bay and Lancelin (sandboarding etc). Mndarie also has its own marina with restaurants and coffee shops and great beaches.
