A question for the Mums

Hiya

As I am a Fifo wife with a toddler I am at home everynight and have started hand knitting little things for babies and toddlers as

1) the telly is crap

2) I think the stuff in the shops is overpriced and rubbish quality.

I was going to start selling it at playgroup etc but as I am moving to Perth hopefully in a few months (am in Melbourne) I haven't started that yet. I don't want to build up a big stock and then no one would buy it in Perth (obviously not as cold as Melbourne)

Can any mums tell me if there would be a demand for Hand knitwear?

Heres a picture of something I've done

Maybe there is Weedolly, on the markets etc. You are clever, I can just about finger knit, and I just end up with a great big long snake of finger knitting that can be used for very little really, I can remember all my soft toys had scarves made out of finger knitting!. The knitted soft toys are quite popular here, alot of the elderly ladies where I live knit those and sell them, but havent seen much hand knitted childrens wear.

pea and I would definitely be in the market for a hand knitted onesie. Not one for both of us, separate ones, one for each of us. Matching colours would be acceptable though.

Preferably without holes in though.....my and your bits might fall out.....:embarressed:
