Osmond8 Posted June 26, 2013 Author Report Share Posted June 26, 2013 I personally did not find the visa wait too bad as things could not have got any worse after going through a year of paper shuffling before that. We said to ourselves, we have done all that we can. We have everything that they have asked for and there should be no reason why we should not be granted a visa. We had a few hairy weeks as my meds were referred and I was convinced that I had blown our chances, but my OH felt different. Once you get that grant email, it will all be worth it honestly. Amy x Before we started on the rollercoaster, I had the patience of a gnat, you sure learn that you have to find some or you will go crazy. We are not there yet. We are due to go in 15 weeks. We are just waiting for the permits to come through for our two dogs and then everything will be booked the same day. We want to know that our two dogs are all booked in and then we will book our flights. Our shipper is on standby and is expecting our call anytime. The only problem is I now have too much time to think! I keep seeing our savings disappearing before our eyes and now thinking, yikes! Xxxx. I officially had a brain fart (thats what my husband calls them) a few weeks ago, everything happened so fast for a few weeks. It's really scary when suddenly you realise this is not just planning anymore, but ACTUALLY happening! Feeling a lot more positive again, my husband has started sending off his cv and we have some reply's which is nice! Still no case officer, should be soon though. Hope everyone is doing ok. Hi Monkeylloyd!....i know how you feel!!! it's eight weeks tomorrow since we lodged our application and we still haven't heard a dickie bird!!! I am driving myself mad checking emails morning, noon and night.... Wherever i am during the day i just want to check the blasted emails!! At the time of lodging i read it was approx a five week waiting time, that passed..... Then i read it was approx an eight week waiting time and that's tomorrow!!!! The problem is while things are quiet i think it makes my brain think more?!... We put our flat on the market almost two weeks ago so hoping that it will all come together soon??!!
