Arwen
Hi!! Could I get any feedback and comments on St Hildas? I get a great impression but my main concerns for my DD are her lack of resilience and confidence, Im happy to 'go with the flow' in terms of her academic leanings, which are creative but as older parents to a single child, I want to equip her with life long confidence and self assurance, no matter what her career desires are. I have a place secured at St Hildas, this entails many sacrifices on our part but we are happy to do it if its the right decision, hence I would like your comments!!, It has a good reputation and if your daughter struggles with confidence then I would imagine the private environment would suit her better than a public school IMO. India
We wanted our girls to grow up with a strong sence of being Australian. we won't be moving to Perth until early 2014 so we decided to send the girls to board at St Hildas we couldn't be happier with our choice of school, staff have been caring, and both girls love it! our girls have very different personalities, but our quieter more reserved child has thrived her confidence has increased incredibly she is much more sociable and has done very well academically we love the fact she has learnt to surf this term Other parents have been incredibly supportive and the attitude has been 'what can we do to help' you've made a great choice of schools
