SJT Posted August 14, 2013 Report Share Posted August 14, 2013 Good morning all, Just a very quick and simple question, does anyone have an rough idea of the cost of utilities for a four bedroom, two bathroom house, gas, electric, water is there others that I have missed?. Weekly :- House Loan XXX Car Loan XXX Monthly :- House insurance 140 Health Insurance 170 Dog Insurance 15 Internet & phone 90 Foxtel 120 2-Monthly Eletric 300 Quarterly Gas 75 6-Monthly Water 300 Water Rates 550 Annual Council rates 1800 Car insurance 700 Car Rego 540 (Some of these numbers are old, but it'll give you a ball park once a few others chip in) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
jonandsarah Posted August 14, 2013 Report Share Posted August 14, 2013 Hi there We are in a 4/5 bedroom 2 bathroom, family area and theatre room property. The are 3 of us 2 adults and one 6 year old. We just had our first gas and electric bills your first bills include a charge for opening account I think gas charge was $45 and $35 for the electric these are one off charges. I have worked out that we are using about $14 per week for gas and the same for electric. I haven't received my first water bill yet so cant help there. We have 2 car one is $43 per month and the other is $32 per month for insurance. Internet and telephone $80 per month haven't got foxtel.
