marktitherington
Hi there, I live in Baldivis and been out here for 4 months now. Im a very keen fisherman , but sold all my fishing gear before we moved. I cant wait to go catch some fish over here. Is anyone else into fishing. jamesw
I bought some fishing stuff when I arrived here but as I have no idea what I am doing, get bored after 5 minutes if I haven't caught anything! Keep meaning to fish off the beach again sometime to start again

Redsquare
I've never fished before so I don't know what the quality is like but K Mart sell some cheap rods. Saw a last stock offer of a rod reel and line for $8. At that price I might take it up!

jamesw
wait until the weather warms up, then arrange an evening at the beach. get the BBQ fired up as well!
portlaunay
I'd love to be able to catch dinner but I fear the reality will be quite different to the vision I have of pulling in a 100kg Yellowfin tuna. I bought a load of camping equipment from a dude who was retiring and touring around Oz. He threw in loads of rods and reels but I've no idea if they're any good and I haven't fished since I was a kid. Mark, it sounds like you're building up a posse of enthusiastic but potentially hopeless fishermen, I hope you know what you're letting yourself in for? Maybe if we chipped in for some beers for you to sweeten the deal it might not seem like such a chore.
marktitherington
No it sound s like fun to me, bbq, beers and fishing. Lets get it sorted when the weather warms up in a few weeks then.
