ali
We have our first Oz camping weekend booked in Busso for mid November if that counts! Of course it counts - Busso was our very first holiday here in Aus too. We'd been here about 10 months and had a long weekend away, I think it was the first time we'd stopped and realised just what we'd achieved in setting up home, the move etc.,

I think you may have let the cat out of the bag now then lol. We went to Thailand and Hong Kong for our honeymoon, loved the sightseeing in Bangkok, we also stayed in Pattaya and had an awesome time there too. When are you going? Love booking holidays! We visited Singapore last year - fell in love with it. Not been to Melbourne yet - you'll have to let us know what it's like for a holiday (I know Kate lived there, but living and holidaying are different lol). We went to Singapore earlier this year and loved it, its hubbys 30th in April and that's where he's chosen to go back to. We went to Melbourne for a weekend last year and really enjoyed it - managed to cram in the Ocean Road too! This time it's for the Boxing Day test as (not that I will be going - I'll do some shopping!) so going to stay down near the Morninghton Peninusla for a few days with friends and then up in the City for NY's. jamesw
We did go to the Reef, I was sick as a dog on route to the reef, but once i fed the fish, I felt fine and did a snorkell and a scuba dive. To be honest I was a little disappointed with the reef, I was expecting a lot more colour than I saw. The trip up to the rain forest and Cape Tribulation was wonderful
