State nomination requires offer of employment beforehand?

Hi all

1 of the Criteria for applicants living outside (West) Australia for state sponsorship in WA:

■ Have an offer of employment for 12 months in Western Australia in

nominated or closely related occupation.

A few questions:

- How is one supposed to get a job offer if not yet on location? (pls don't tell me through video interviews...:nah: )

- Is this a new rule or.. ?

Any info is welcome

Thank you

Christophe

Lool. That is not what they meant . you can comply with one of the 3 conditions. I remember that you CAN just provide that you reserched your position in this region and have found 3 adds like your nominated position or closely related position. You must provide the FULL add with all its details .They want to make sure that you know what the region offers for your nominated job. However ,when you arrive there , you are not required to work in the same position, you can do anything till you complete the 1 year of work and live there for 2 years before applying for the Permenant Residency. Hope it helps

Thanks for that, but I'm somehow not 100% reassured.

After all, it says on site:

It depends on the visa you wish/entiteled to apply for. Check with agent or another one to make sure. But if you will apply for 190 you will not need anything.

In my case for example, for a state nomination/ regional sponsored i need only to show them 3 adds .That's what i got from my agent just 1 week ago. Best of luck
