Packing nightmare!!!

Hi, We used a couple in our cases it just helped with the bulky stuff (towels and bits) plus we vacuumed it in the case so it was the right shape! it worked for us, only used it in hold luggage. We had the extra baggage allowance but with 5 of us (3 being small children) there was a limit to what we would physically move through the airport. Most airlines have a maximum per bag weight but then dont mind how many bags you use to make up your total allowance, might be worth checking your airlines policy and then perhaps just getting another bag if they allow it?

We did the same as the Weston clan. Worked perfect. We packed first (mostly clothes, towels etc) and had no space at all so bought vacuum pack, put them in the cases, filled and suctioned them. Loads more space. We flew with Singapore airlines and we could take as many bags as we wanted but couldn't exceed 30kg each. Sounds ok but 2 adults managing lots of cases wasn't going to work. Try it, see how much you get in and only pay for excess bagage if you need to.
