Toxen Posted January 17, 2014 Report Share Posted January 17, 2014 Hello. I'm a Community psychiatric nurse, trained in UK, currently on a 457 visa, looking to move from NSW to Perth this year. Where can i look for permanent jobs as the WA Government website does not seem to have much. Or which agencies can i use? They're expanding from 40-70 beds so have been recruiting staff. I googled them, went on their site and there was an application link there. Hope that's a help! dascollins Posted January 19, 2014 Report Share Posted January 19, 2014 Hi there Currently there is a recruitment freeze within the metro mental health services due to redeployment throughout both services. Hence not many jobs around at the mo, let alone SRN 3 (CPN equivalent), however it's still worth contacting the main inpatient units to enquire. So a couple of suggestions Graylands Hosp (North Metro) Bentley Hospital or Alma Street Centre in Fremantle (South Metro), Mimidi Park in Rockingham (PaRK Health Service); Mimidi is the newest in-patient service so the most modern. Fiona Stanley Hospital is also opening up an observation area, so a 'stop gap' between ED and transition onto a psych bed.
