Trying to think of an update for you all 3 months in, seeing as I have done most normal tourist things here it's what we have been up to as we now live here. These are my personal thoughts

been to leapfrogs for a meal and the crazy golf , really enjoyed the afternoon

went to Yanchep national park, had lunch in the old hotel , saw the kolas and kangaroos. Not riveting

been to Cottesloe, Scarborough, floreat had a drink in the famous tea house ,on the way back visited the English chippy in currambine, ok but nothing special.

went to Belmont races , had winner and we all had a fun time

took the train to Manduah saw the Dolphins ,would like to go for a short break there.

visted Atlantis fairly new children's playground for a party, very unsocial for a party. Went to inflatable world for a party , loads better, went to the new pub in Carramar for a christening ,would not recommend.

taken numerous walks along the beach fronts, all enjoyed.

met up with Annjean for coffee and a natter, met up with Rob and Racheal at the Butler Dome, met up with Deb and a few other PP at the Moon and Sixpence, did a Mullalo walk with the girls , really enjoyed everyone.

Done all the things to make you an Aussie all easy to do, I had to have a medical for my drivers licence , as I take some funny tablets, but no problems.

got help from pp to get the car on the road, would not recommend bringing the car over.

Given my tenants notice to move out, feel awful as she is pregnant, however there seems to be loads of rentals about. Will be better when we are in our own house.

Hubby still misses the UK , he says nice for a holiday but not to live here , so working hard on that but I would say never underestimate the pull of your old life , even when you pinch yourself you live in a fabulous house looking out on the ocean.

Gone very quickly Steeley, how are you doing ?

Just sending off the Police checks, then sit back and wait for a case office. Been informed likely November for this, and then the medicals, hopeful of a January move, but nothing solid yet, as you know the Parent Visa route is looooong and sloooow!

Good to see your settling in well though.

Ok thanks. I like the ozzie rugby league on Gem i think it is etc so may miss that, we also only have vivid wireless at the moment so probably wouldn't be able to get it without an actual line. It's a pity you can't flick between that and normal tv so he could get the cricket.
