Rossmoyne
Having a restorative "hair of the dog"! I don't drink a lot, but do enjoy a nice wine in moderation and the odd G & T.... yesterday though was a totally different matter as my son (who lives in Queensland and is home for the festive season) and my daughter and her husband (who recently moved into their newly built house), decided to have a bit of a New Years Day Bash with all their mates at my house as I have a pool, large yard and big barbie..... It was an all day party and although it was wonderful to see all their mates and catch up with what they are up to, I think I consumed about a year's worth of vino in one day! I struggled to log on to PP this afternoon to do my "Mod" bit.... and have finally caved in for the HOTD..... Houghtons SSB I love you... portlaunay
Hopefully plenty of room for a Beetle Jeff! Always plenty of room for a bug. Four parking spaces and room on the verandah for the bike. That means there's a space free!
ali
Impromptu picnic up at Cottesloe with my family and meeting a couple of friends and their families - lovely relaxing evening enjoying a beer and watching the sun set.

Nice views as always. We always seem to manage to find something we've not seen before at Kings Park - it is lovely and we usually take our visitors at night time too to enjoy the view. Because I was at that same spot around midday We were there from around 9.30 until 3pm, I can't remember what time I took photo lol. All I can say is that I saw a dodgy looking ginger bloke decked out in Liverpool gear!!!
Guest Guest6235
Where's that mate? Up at Guilderton Dom, a trek for you at hour and 50 min, but if you got out early and had full day then definitely worth it. I know you like paddle boarding so you could do that there. We'll be visiting more as it's 50 mins from us. I actually prefer it here more than going on the Swan river at Applecross now. Rossmoyne
At the moment I am praying for friends and family who are in the path of the awful fire moving southwest from Waroona..... So very terrible and something none of us want to experience. Feeling so worried and sad not just for my family and friends, but for everyone and their animals in this terrible situation. Still waiting to hear that my loved ones are safe - one of whom is a volunteer firefighter after retiring from being a career Fire Fighter for 40 years..... So very worried. I do hope none of you are in this part of WA or have family and friends who are. It is so very scary.
