Thanks, can you post it instead ?

Our whole application was paper based, so we just posted it to our CO. They must've taken a copy and then sent it back to us straight away.

Many congratulations on the offer on the post office odies! Shame that it's lower than you want, but if it's enough for what you need and won't leave you short, cutting your losses to get the end result that you want could be worth it in the bigger picture...

It is perfect dog walking weather - on the beach and cool and breezy. I love Perth winter as you can go for walks without getting too hot.

We also usually go down to Margaret River for 4/5 nights. Visit some wineries, pick up some treats from the cheese factory, choc factory and things then back to the cottage and night in front of a real fire with some good red and the treats.

Oh, and i still swim most days

Light the firepit, toast marshmallows, eat lovely stews, enjoy sitting outside even more, no flies! We go to the races at Belmont in winter, good day out!

I got second place at The Grand National.....

OH is waiting for Everton Arsenal to come on, we have just finished dinner, enjoying a glass of Emberton Merlot.

Hectic Sunday.

We had a last minute call from a friend needing a play day for her daughter. Took the dog for a walk on the beach at 7am, met friends at Sth Freo Growers market and then headed home to meet friends.

Afternoon meeting of the commissioning panel for the school artist in residence application; drew up a brief and lots of ideas.

Cooked Osso Buco (with milk), drank too much red wine, more friends arrived unannounced, drank more red wine, baked a cherry cake with the kids (hic! oh dear), kids just gone to bed, I'll not be far behind them.

Awesome Sunday.

I enjoy he horses and the trots when we are there.

I watched phil spencer and he said he always ate outside when in Perth is it me but I do not very often eat outside because of the flies and what might be under the table also at restaurants thats where all the smokers sit. Do I need to get out more ?

Flies mostly gone now Odies and just keep a can of Mortein spray handy for the rest of the critters; bugs that is.

The flies normally come in waves for a couple of weeks at a time and maybe a couple of waves per year. There not a problem at all now till late spring

Trying to enjoy a lie in on the first day of the school holidays but I'm too excited. First of the shipping companies coming today. We've valued the non sentimental stuff so I'll find soon just how much we'll be taking with us. I expect the quotes to be high enough for us to decide to buy new when we get there but who knows..? :-)

Sideshowdeb, we thought that, we were only going to bring a few things and then buy brand new here. So wished we had brought everything, even down to our camping tables and chairs, if you have room in the container then my advice would be to bring it with you. You might be surprised at how expensive stuff is here. A couple of my girlfriends have also said they got rid of lots of stuff which thought they would never use again, but have since regretted getting rid of stuff. I gave away my ski coat as I thought I would never use it here, and I even wish I had brought it, obviously not for the snow, but to keep the wind and rain out.

It is so exciting having them come out and as I found most of the agents wanted to do it themselves and got excited for you.

Have fun!

A few tips:

Most modern houses here have walk in / built in wardrobes

Electricals can be cheap here - particularly TV's, but white goods - particlularly the better brands - very expensive

Bedding can be expensive

Houses are usually bigger so need more furniture to stop them feeling empty.

We've lived in new builds with integral storage so we don't have any wardrobes, sideboards, dressers or anything like that. Son has grown out of his bed and has been promised new in Oz and I can't wait to see the back of our dining set and sofa. I've heard about the bedding a few times now so if we're going to have a bit of space I might stock up. Thanks for the tips
