SaffanZimbo
Just ordered a mattress for youngest daughter's bunk bed (we have been existing with a small single mattress for the bottom bunk for weeks now while I dither over which mattress is best - my middle name is OCD...). Also updated my Things to do before the BIG move / DIY spreadsheet and so far we are still on schedule for early September move. OH still dithering over whether to take his Honda Fireblade (aka "Homer") or not...... I am secretly hoping he decides not to as it involves more paperwork and leg work in Perth to get it on the road....

Very staight and things. Also they have a LOT of speed cameras, but there they hide them in the bushes and move them every day. Tell your hubby the most popular bike here is a Harley and he will get what i mean about not good blade roads
Sideshowdeb
I'd defintinely recommend them. You should be fine to catch up on the first three books as, if anything, the TV series occasionally brings things from the books forward (if that makes sense). It all gets a bit tricky after 6 books to say exactly what happens when, but I'm sure there was stuff in season 3 that didn't happen until book 4. I have to say though they are sticking true to the books and there aren't too many artistic liberties being taken. I'm very much the type of person that always reads the book before seeing the film/tv series because I believe that you can't beat the power of the imagination. I enjoy creating my own idea of the world and then seeing if it matches what the creators saw. However the locations and casting of the series are both absolutely spot on in my opinion and are capturing the essence of the characters perfectly. If you're going to read the books, I recommend doing it on a Kindle (or other e-book device) as the books are massive!! I'd second that regarding the Kindle. Someone bought my Mum the books as a set for Christmas and they are mighty weighty! I only started the books after watching series one and I've now read them all as I couldn't put them down. I'm blessed with a shocking memory so I am still surprised when watching it on tv.

Plimthing
My wife and i drove topless to Kenwick yesterday! Today we drove back with the roof up as it was a little warmer! The beetle now is, well almost, a complete car!! Only fine tuning, a quieter exhaust, maybe a new carburettor, electronic ignition, vinyl wrap bonnet and a brake service and she's done!! Then it will be up for sale! Form an orderley queue please

Plimthing
When you say vinyl wrap do you mean a bonnet protector like this; or, more like this; Thats a fine piece of European machinery there! However that ferrari looks horrible! No, not a bonnet protector, just some wrap in the same style as Ferrari but not as stupid a colour! Thinking matt black or carbon effect. Will do Bonnett and rear lower valence and engine lid.

Plimthing
I'm not sure, but will find out soon ! The carbon is ok, looks charcoal grey from a distance. Woould like a Kombi next but i think i may be homeward bound in the near future so may not have time to complete. I can get cheaper kombi in UK!
