I would not bother with the blade - the roads here are not sport bike roads. Very staight and things. Also they have a LOT of speed cameras, but there they hide them in the bushes and move them every day. Tell your hubby the most popular bike here is a Harley and he will get what i mean about not good blade roads

Hi VeryStormy,

Thanks for the feedbakc.

My OH thinks Harley is a swear word:wideeyed: oops! He has been thinking about getting a BMW touring bike but we've run out of time to buy one here as he flies in September so it won't qualify for the 12 month ownership rule... I keep hoping he'll decide to sell the Blade and buy something on arrival in Perth tbh. With 3 girls in the house I appreciate his need to escape at times but having the wrong bike will I think only make him unhappy.... and as you pointed out Perth has both the wrong roads and well policed roads.

Harley's are huge here....must admit I'm partial to a Ducati, wish I had the gonads to ride one....

Oh Pea how did you manage to do that... well how did Harry manage to do that???? Rossy

Harry managed to distract me, whilst needing a visit to the pee parlour..(backyard) ..got my keys ready to leave, left them inside, locked the door via door lock no keys needed, left keys inside...I saw myself doing it, but didn't stop myself,...numpty! Harry was happy he could graze on all the lovely critters and things in the front garden this time...! One of my lovely mum friends from school rescued my youngest, and then we met up In dome (Rob T where are you) for a squashed frog and iced teas...! All good...lesson learned....

Breathing a HUGE sigh of relief..... PR visa granted this morning! It was the last bit of the puzzle as OH had already given up work, was contracted to start his new job in Perth on the 28th, we had left our house here and all our stuff was all packed up by Crown Relocations 10 days ago...... We can finally sleep easy again and have just booked our flights for April 21st to arrive April 22nd.

Happy days...... :smile2:

ooh you trust your OH to choose a house:eek: lol. Yep we are pretty much sorted, just a waiting game with a load of work between now and leaving!

hope packing goes smoothly and you fit all you intened to fit in, the movecube looked small but we actually had a bit of space left at the top and that was after putting a couple of extra bits in!

I'm the same more hassle trying to work out what to take in my case, looking forward to getting everything away tomorrow though.

We've been searching houses for months and always like the same ones so quite happy letting Paul getting us a house, just worried he might up the budget though!!
