I hope your medical's ok! I have some worries about my Mils and wish she'd lose some weight as the guidance from immi suggests she'll be B graded and referred as she has other conditions in addition to her weight. Fingers crossed she's not referred when her time comes!!!

Odies - have you read the booklet for medical practitioners? It might help put your mind at rest or at least you'll know what to expect.

baking the last batch of scones, 100 done just 30 to go! busy week of baking, carrot cake, chocolate cake and lemon cake too...all for 140 people! thinking possitively as only 11 days of work left.

Do you freeze them? Do you have a standard size oven/trays or larger?

We fly out in 12 days!

Just sold my car today. I really didn't want to have to do the whole negotiating thing. I know this is going to sound lame to many of you but I really see this as a man's job. (Victorian values!) I hate the whole dealing with garages or bartering with cars, makes me feel uncomfortable. However, today I stepped out of my comfort zone and dealt with both. Repair done, car sold, done!!!! Not only that, I think I did quite well actually. :cute:

yes will freeze the scones as they arent needed until Saturday. I baked the first hundred in our unit which has a bigger oven but had to bring the rest home as had a call from son's nursery to come and pick him up as he had sprained his ankle! Will make sticky toffee pudding and butterscotch sauce for 140 tomorrow then do all the cakes on Thursday and Friday.

I can't believe we are all going so soon now, jealous of you who only have days left though!
