Just had a shower, sat in a towel contemplating a glass of wine at 15:30 due to my stress out at thinking my essay submission date was today when it was I fact yesterday and the Uni don't care hahahaha not that I expected them to! So please don't judge my early alcohol consumption

Just about to start cooking for tomorrow's dinner;

Cold entre of: Poached Salmon fillet on a bed of black quinoa and edamame beans, Tsukemono, watercress infused oil and a fish consommé jelly

Main: Ballotine of chicken with mushrooms and rocket, roast baby carrots, crumbed boudin blanc and a sage foam.

No desert, just a selection of Tasmanian cheese, quince and black sesame biscuits.

Tomorrow is going to be a very long day...

We want to show some friends that we appreciate the love and support they have showered upon us. We've only known them a couple of years and they've done nothing but give. They've just fallen pregnant with their first so it's a very special occasion and we all feel like one family.

It's a rare treat to be cooking for just four people so after coffee and breakfast the music will go on and the cooking will begin. I'm rather looking forward to it.
