Just had a birthday lunch with my son in The Norfolk, now off to hit the toy shops...

Just to ad JUNE birthday, 1 st grandaughter, second son, and daughter in law, next door neighbour and dear old mum , flowers for the grave.

Well it wasn't really the birthday we were looking forward to. At 6.30 this morning we heard a loud bang. Thought it was a car accident then after a few minutes it repeated several times. Came into the lounge to find a guy half hanging in this hole;

Only got Mrs p's handbag but the kids are pretty scared.

Cops and our rental co have been awesome though and it could have been so much worse.

Stay safe people.

Oh no Porty, that is rubbish:sad: hope you are all OK. We were broken into 18 months ago (still in the UK) and it is the worst feeling in the world. give the kids some big hugs and I will keep my fingers crossed that they catch the little s**t. sending some extra :wubclub: as sounds like you / yours could do with them x

Feeling both your grief and anger right now Porty....

Cheers guys. It's actually not that bad and it gives us an opportunity to discuss security improvements with the owners. No one hurt, my son is a bit shaken up and he'll likely be edgy for a few nights but it could have been a whole lot worse. They came in through the construction site next door so at lease that build will soon be complete and the site secure.

Sorry to hear about your 'visitor' Port. If they ever catch him, let me know, i've got some hungry mates from PNG at work with a large cooking pot. If you need anything, give us a shout.

Makes my weak bladder post seem quite irrelavent now! Damn being at the top of a new page!

Glad everyone's ok porty.

We got ram raided at work last Monday morning 02:30, the puckers loaded my bosses shiny snap-on tool box in the back of a stolen ute, but unfortunately to get the forklift to the ute they had to barge past a jet, ripped the wing tip off it and knocked it off jacks, then in the hurry to get away the tool box fell off the back of the ute and spread itself all over the road, airport security chased them for a bit until the police picked up the chase but then lost them in the bush when they got bogged, they abandoned the stolen ute later & the cops found it, even what you think is a secure workplace isn't, glad they didn't get my tool box, that's my livelihood, no tools no work = no pay.

Jandakot sounds all action compared to Perth International!

Glad everyone is ok.

I know it happens everywhere but oz house security is one the things that worries me especially with a small baby daughter.

Sometimes I do wonder if any criminals see a big container arriving at a house & say right boys tonight's the night.

Think I broke my toe in a lot of pain.Have broke it before. :sad:haven a glasd of wine to help take the pain away,Feeling sorry for my self

Ouch! I kicked the chair leg and cracked my little toe, very sore. I think you'll find wine is the only thing that helps and it's only effective after at least three glasses.
