Sideshowdeb
Enjoy that too - it'll be worth it!! I think it will put my "stick to one white spirit" theory to the test! No wine, no cider, no whisky and no shots! I've got so little time left I'm dammed if I'm going to waste a day feeling sorry for myself in bed! ? Stephen Anderson? I didn't know him but a couple of my mates from Kinloss did and they're pretty devastated as well. Desperately sad for a great many people. Sideshowdeb
Bristol is good a day out. SS Great Britain and the harbourside are worth a look and there are some great places to eat. The river cruises used to quite good too, but I haven't been on one for a while. There is a lovely park in Clifton overlooking the suspension bridge with a children's play area and Bristol Zoo is very close to the bridge too. Bowood House in Wiltshire has an amazing adventure play area for the kids but if you're going to Longleat it's probably not worth it as there's far more at Longleat. You could take a drive past Stonehenge? Tick it off the bucket list before you go to Oz x Originally wanted to ask of you're thinking of going to the Eden Project? Thinking that there's 3 generations on holiday the first week it could be a good choice. It's a pretty unique day out and there's something for everyone. It's quite amazing really x Edited July 20, 2014 by Sideshowdeb

It's brought it home how close we are to turning our lives upside down, I'm bricking it! I remember that day too.....I was dead scared, but so so excited at the same time. Yes it does bring it all home that this is really happening, but it is a wonderful opportunity to start afresh in a new place, new cultures and new sights........and the weather isn't bad either. Good luck to you Matey.
Guest Guest6235
Just looked at the weather for the week ahead in our area and it's showing sunshine Mon-Fri ....but rain and cloud for the weekend, typical UK summer.

It's brought it home how close we are to turning our lives upside down, I'm bricking it! Hope the move goes well. We are humming and arrgghing about whether to use crown, they are slightly more expensive than other quotes we've had but we like the fact they have their own in house insurance and follow on company in Perth. flatpack
Hope the move goes well. We are humming and arrgghing about whether to use crown, they are slightly more expensive than other quotes we've had but we like the fact they have their own in house insurance and follow on company in Perth. They're also based in Leeds so you're keeping local lads in work. We didn't use them for the insurance, we used insure my move, they were about 30% cheaper if memory serves my right. I'll agree they were slightly more expensive but I'm a great believer in you get what you pay for! We had 4 different companies in and the only company that gave us an "all in price" (except insurance) was Crown. By the time all the "extras" were added to the other quotes, Crown were very competitive. As we were moving into a smaller property for 2 months before we go they also stored the majority of our gear free of charge which was an benefit that was included, they also store it in Perth for 2 weeks free if you're not ready for it!
