travelchic
To all the lovely nurses out there. Is a clinical nurse post the equivalent of a sisters post in the UK. I've seen 2 posts that appeal to me. One is registered nurse and one is clinical nurse in same environment. The clinical nurse post is more money. ali
It's a level 2 post - like a senior staff nurse if you like. On the ward the CN will be called upon to coordinate the shift, but there will be a level 3 in charge of the ward. In community mental health, the community nurses are level 2's. I guess the equivalent is to think of an RN as band 5, CN as band 6 and CNS/CNM as a band 7. When applying, in addition to your CV address the selection criteria separately, address each point with a couple of paragraphs demonstrating the skills they ask for.
