Sideshowdeb
Hi Lucy, Welcome to PP. We're moving to Perth in July and we booked with ozhouserentals.com. I would highly recommend them from our dealings so far as Tracey has been really helpful. We just told her the area we wanted, our budget and dates and she sent us a list of what was available. If you look on the website though, it's easy to see what's available by area, and there's more pictures on the Facebook page. I've seen lots of people recommend stayz.com also. I'm sure someone who knows those areas will be along soon enough to give you the lowdown, otherwise there's a lot of info on here about suburbs if you just search for it. Hope that helps? Lucy Robertson
Thanks everyone, I have been looking on these sites and have found a few.. Is it the norm to pay your deposit by bank transfer?? Found an ideal house but does not accept credit card/ paypal for deposit and we are reluctant to transfer that much cash to a bank account on other side of the world with no guarantee.. Sideshowdeb
I found that strange to be honest, we always use our credit card for things like that because of the extra protection you get. We went with it because they had been recommended by so many people. The paperwork was very professional too. Is it a company with lots of feedback? lozzachino
We used a bank transfer and it was fine. We stayed at Iandra Loop in Carramar, there are two houses on this street now up for rent, ours was the slightly older one, but way cheaper than the fancy looking one! Even in winter. Lucy Robertson
This gives me a bit piece of mind.. Funny it was the one in Iandra Loop we were looking at. They all seem to have great reviews etc but like you Deb I always use credit card for back up! Cheers
