Sideshowdeb
Sorry if this makes you start scratching at the thought, but like lots of people, today was back to school day and my daughter and I had the same conversation we have every school day, about why she can't wear her hair down.... She hates having to have a bun or plaits everyday and today she asked me if they have nits in Australia? I said yes without even thinking, but I'd love someone to tell me I'm wrong, or at least that they're not as common as they are here. We've been lucky so far, but it seems like there's a note sent home every week saying there's been cases in the school. Thanks in advance, Deb :smile2:
portlaunay
Yes, but like everything else in Australia, they're deadly.
SJT
Sorry to say, but yes they have nits here and the same rules apply hair has to be tied up. We tried to get away with it, and Emily was wearing her hair in two ponytails, but after the first week back in Feb she came home with the dreaded nits. I now use a daily nit defence spray and touch wood she has not had them again.
Sideshowdeb
Thanks, I thought that would be the case but I was hoping I'd be wrong. Guess we're destined to continue having the same conversation down under x
