Lou8670
We'd love to come! I thought OH was racing but it's the week before. Is M on the Point easy to find? And is it child friendly? We have 3 kids aged 8, 8 and 9 by then!
verystormy
M on the point is very easy. Get the foreshore and look at the big appartments that look out over the water and it is on the ground floor of them. I think it is child friendly and will check when i get home. If not, we will look at something else. Plenty to chose from

elfie
Happy little vegemite better chance of seeing them in Dawesville cut than in the sea at Mandurah foreshore, but they do appear on the odd day hope you see them. It was the highlight of my move after hubby kept saying he was seeing them daily for the 3 months before I arrived. Still go to Dawesville cut regularly see them most times it is an amazing feeling when you see them specially if they have a little baby with them also amazing. Just further down the road in Dawesville itself you can see the kangaroos in peoples gardens thats a wow for the first time also.

On the south side of the cut, ocean side of the bridge there is a little marina type thing. The dolphins herd the fish into it and you can sit on the edge and watch them from only a couple of feet away jumping into the air. Or you can be really brave (maybe a bit silly) and jump in with them - my wife has and it was amazing as they swam all around her and even jumped clean over the top of her. Just saw on the news though that dolphins are not the only visitor to the Dawesville beach this week! http://www.abc.net.au/news/2014-05-03/shark-video-four-metre-great-white-circles-boat-dawesville-wa/5428262

Just as it was getting dark you could stand on the new jetty and they'd swim beneath you and bash their tails upon the surface until the fish appeared. I must be honest we've been very lucky and almost every time I'm at the Dome we see them usually around 11 to 12am .
